The official website for the anime adaptation project based on Tozen Ujiie's four-panel school comedy manga Seitokai Yakuindomo has announced that the release of its forthcoming second feature film is postponed to a later date due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak. It was originally set to be released in Japan on July 10, 2020, three years after the 60-minute first film Seitokai Yakuindomo: The Movie in July 2017.
The message from the anime's production committee:
Thank you very much for your continued support for "Seitokai Yakuindomo." Due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), we are forced to postpone the release of "Seitokai Yakuindomo: The Movie 2," which was scheduled to be released on July 10, 2020. The new release date will be announced on the official website as soon as it is decided. We are very sorry for the audiences who are looking forward to the release of the film and ask for your understanding.
